What Do Most Session Looks Like?
Therapy sessions are tailored to each individual's goals and desired outcomes. Some clients prefer short-term counseling with targeted interventions, while others prefer a more reflective approach to process week-to-week events.
Targeted Interventions: In this approach, the client and I collaborate to design a wellness plan. Each session is structured to focus on specific areas of functioning or thought patterns that may be impacting your well-being. The goal is to address challenges directly and provide practical strategies for improvement.
Processing Week-to-Week: This approach is typically more in-depth and gradual. You bring experiences that feel significant, and together we explore your feelings and reactions. Over time, we’ll uncover patterns that lead to increased self-awareness, identify areas for growth, and build intrinsic motivation for lasting change.
What Should I Expect During My Consultation?
During your first consultation, we'll explore the reasons you're seeking therapy and assess whether we’re a good fit to work together. This is your space to share what’s currently alive for you-whether it’s what you're creating in the world or the challenges holding you back. We'll discuss your goals and how I can support you moving forward. At the end of our consultation, we’ll schedule your first session to dive deeper into your journey.
What Should I Expect After My Consultation?
Once your initial consultation is complete, you have the option to become my client. After a meaningful and transformative conversation, you’ll leave with a renewed perspective on your life and a clear path forward. All I ask is that you come with a willingness to grow and a readiness to embrace change. Together, we'll reconnect you to life, your peace of mind, and your sense of self, and most importantly, you’ll commit to doing the work.
